KIC Question of the day #23

Should the Israel national football (soccer) team play on Shabbat?

absolutely not. even if the players arent religious the team as a whole represents jewish people all round the world. its not right or fair on religious fans to play on shabbat.

Yes they can, Israel has a secular majority and is a secular Jewish state. And I don't agree with the comment that the Israeli national team represents jews all around the world. They represent the Israelies, whether they are jews or arabs, as a matter of fact some arab players are part of the national team.
